[So, how have the past few days treated you? Have you found a place to stay? Have you met some friends? Maybe rested enough to recover your wounds? Well, let’s hope so...

Near the beginning of the afternoon a giant shockwave will rumble through the walls and a large explosion will be heard all across the Castle, causing a huge hole to open up from the gardens. And apparently failing to notice the huge door right next to it.

A few moments later, a few dozen ghosts come pouring in, attacking anyone and everything in sight. And that’s only those who have managed to enter the Castle: the troops have the entire area surrounded.

Finally a few moments later a much bigger and larger ghost shows up, gratuitously posing for everyone to see.]

Alright boys, now that Prince Laharl is long gone, this place is ours. Drive out these old sympathisers, we don’t need a bunch of Krichevskoy losers hanging around. Things are gonna change around here.

[The army of ghosts all stop and salute]

Intimidation has its place, but I don't think this is it.

[Honesty is good. Throwing away the sword, however, seems to have been the event the massed ghost charge was waiting for - they move en masse as soon as it hits the ground.]

[Right into a rather spectacular explosion. Damn, girl. Color Soma impressed.]

[...Right. Buff magic, stacked. Buffs tend to wear off quick, if his gaming and personal experience is anything to judge by; time to make the donuts. He'll Black Panther charge right into the thick of them and set off Red Minotaur to take out a dozen in one shot - along with a support column and several tapestries. Oops.]

[...Oh, and there's some red orbs flowing from a couple of the ghosts toward Soma, who seems to be absorbing them.]

[She's not even worried about the column and tapestries because eh, that'll more than likely just be more cleanup work for the Prinnies. The giant axe—which definitely looks bigger than anything any human could handle—and the red orbs that Soma appears to be taking from the ghosts, however, both have Stella once again questioning just what Soma is.

This time, instead of outright dismissing the thought because of priorities, she makes a mental note to ask about that later. Maybe.

Some of the remaining ghosts, after seeing how this particular skirmish has gone so far, decide to turn their attention away from Soma and instead begin advancing on Stella, reasoning that because she's primarily casting supportive spells, they should try to deal with her first in order to cut down Soma's own offense.

With her being in the middle of casting another Braveheart in order to keep the spell's effect going, the girl's going to need to be covered.]

[The answer is 'complicated, with a side of possessed', but there'll be time for that later. The ghosts advancing on his support have a nasty shock in store - literally, as Soma throws a bolt of lightning at their backs. It passes through several of them, dealing significant but not quite fatal damage, and he follows up with a panther dash and a couple well-timed slashes with his sword. This leaves him within conversational distance.]

I don't have anything big enough to take down this lot all at once. How about you?

[By the time Soma reaches her, she's finished re-casting Braveheart thanks to the bit of time he gave her, and has just enough time to blow the closest ghost away from her with a basic Wind spell.

With how many ghosts there are still remaining, though, this is starting to sound like a job for one of her favorites.]

If you can get them all just a bit closer together, yes.

[And with that, he's going to start rounding them up. It doesn't take him long; being able to freeze time in short bursts helps immensely.]

That tight enough, or do I need to clean up the edges?

[nerveball]

It'll work. [She answers while beginning to cast her next spell.

Once it begins, beneath the ghost in the center of the lot that Soma had pulled together with a series of movements that looked impossibly-fast to her, there is a faint purple glow followed by an eruption of purple lasers that simply tear through the group.

It's not necessarily her strongest thanks mostly to having more experience with other spells, but Stella has always found Giga Star to be useful for larger groups. The bigger spells also did have the tendency to make one think twice about what they were getting themselves into, as well.]

[That one gets a low, appreciative whistle.]

I *really* need to work on my top end. That was impressive.

[The last stragglers of this room's invaders seem to be uncertain. Should they attack? Should they run? Should they throw themselves on the mercy of this terrifying duo? Should they, perhaps, consider a change of allegiance? All of a sudden it seemed they had far too many choices and not nearly enough time to make them.]

[Making it flashy is a bit of a habit, one that would be easily explained if Soma knew what her hobbies were.]

I-I like to try. [She wasn't expecting to be complimented for any of the things she was doing here, though.]

You can go ahead and see if anyone else needs any help, I'll make sure these last few don't do anything here.

[Remembering that huge sword, he considers some options for a sec or two, before offering her something in a lighter weight class - a katana, to be exact. Not a demon slayer, though - that would just be rude. Where the heck is he keeping all these things?!]
