[So, how have the past few days treated you? Have you found a place to stay? Have you met some friends? Maybe rested enough to recover your wounds? Well, let’s hope so...

Near the beginning of the afternoon a giant shockwave will rumble through the walls and a large explosion will be heard all across the Castle, causing a huge hole to open up from the gardens. And apparently failing to notice the huge door right next to it.

A few moments later, a few dozen ghosts come pouring in, attacking anyone and everything in sight. And that’s only those who have managed to enter the Castle: the troops have the entire area surrounded.

Finally a few moments later a much bigger and larger ghost shows up, gratuitously posing for everyone to see.]

Alright boys, now that Prince Laharl is long gone, this place is ours. Drive out these old sympathisers, we don’t need a bunch of Krichevskoy losers hanging around. Things are gonna change around here.

[The army of ghosts all stop and salute]

All hail the Ghost Overlord!

[And so the Ghost Overlord seemingly disappears from sight... only to pop right back out of nowhere a few seconds later right in Troubadour's face!]

I was planning on killing you along with the rest... but I'm not sure if I want to risk you coming back with us.

[he shoots to his feet, sputtering] I am not a demon! How could even say such a thing!?

[he looms up, his voice very quiet] Did you...just say...I look like a demon?

[he makes a move to grab the ghost's darling little hood thing] I AM NOT A DEMON! I AM A GOD!

[The Ghost moves back, away from crazy wimp demon there.]

Please... that line is so overused. Seriously, no one takes "gods" seriously nowadays.

Hnnngh! Why does no one ever believe me!? Does the marking on my forehead mean nothing to you people? Must even the undead mock me to my face!?

The markings? I thought you just didn't know how to put eyeliner on correctly.

Anyway, what does bad makeup have to do with anything?

B-Bad...make...? [he wobbles backwards, so offended and dismayed that he's actually dizzy. His hands go to his head as he mutters to himself] So it's true then. Not a single soul in this forsaken hell has any idea who the gods are...even the dead...

[He would retort that pretty much anyone strong enough can get a "god" title, even though it doesn't mean much, but... yeah... unless you're the God of Wimps, we ain't buying it.]

... man, you're seriously cramping my style. I was planning on killing everyone in sight but...

Killing you would be like killing a really stupid puppy...

...I cannot let you kill anyone. Even if they are demons, even if no one cares what I am or what I say, I am still a divine being! And as such, it's my responsibility to stop you from sowing chaos and harming innocents!

[Okay, most of the ghosts stop as he says this... only to burst out laughing a few seconds later. Chaos? INNOCENTS?! What the hell was this guy on?]

A divine being? Oh man, you're killing me there, buddy.

But whatever, anyone who goes against the great Ghost Overlord, delusional god or not, is going to feel our wrath!

[musicalplum]

[he sweeps back his cape as a perfectly timed wind blows, scattering flower petals in the breeze]

Prepare yourself!

[like a light being switched off, his aura immediately darkens into something fearsome, and he launches into his cursing song, muttering the "lyrics" under his breath]

And he was trying to tell us he's not a demon!

[He kinda stands there for a few seconds, unsure of what the hell is happening. He's feeling something but... he's not sure WHAT it is... All he knows is: he's got to get away!]

Urgh, don't know what you're singing but it's so horrible it's giving me the creeps. Shut him up, boys, I don't have time for this crap!

[A bunch of minor ghosts jump in front of him... though he fails to notice that they are getting squirmy too. And while he's blocked from view, he's gonna head towards his throne room.

Man, this guy was a waste of time... And... was he signing "bugs" over and over?]

H-Hey! Are you running away!? [he's trying to shout over the minor ghosts who have him blocked, flailing, but then he has no choice to focus on them instead of the boss]

Foolish underlings! What good will come from following such evil?
